psychological test game

Standard

My mother thought I was crazy, and I was subjected to a psychological testing tool. The tool was a game called ‘Second Life‘ (which is a real game I’ve never played and it weirds me out just conceptually) by ‘Gravity’ (a company name my my mind invented). There was a man in green involved in this dream, but I don’t recall his role.

superheroes, tiny human parasites, and an owl-moth, also sex

dream green arrow wingsI was Green Arrow. I had learned – from reading a comic book actually – that Superman was unknowingly host to a civilization of tiny people who found a way of surviving in his body. I feel like they were probably Kryptonians (from Kandor?). So my sidekick – I don’t even remember who my sidekick was – is scaling the side of an apartment skyscraper and I remember thinking “what an idiotic way to get inside a building”. And really, it is. There’s plenty of ways you could sneak into a building that are a thousand times safer, or you could scale the building on the outside in plain view of the world and be easily spotted (including by someone inside the actual building). Plus, it would take for damn ever, and you’d be too tired for superhero business when you finally got to the right floor.

cyborg frog rocks

Standard

The dream involved:

Frogs that grew among rocks in a stream or brook. They would form as a sort of slime film around the rocks as the water lapped over them, and the slime would form together into a more complex life and eventually there would be a bed of frogs, all capable of mobility but just a shell around a non-being with no organs. There was an ongoing experiment on them. They made them form around balls of ice so they would become hollow once it melted, floppy piles of frog-coloured pasta. The scientists tried to place little machines inside the frogs so that the organic part would grow around the machine and serve as its biological exoskeleton. Possibly to spy on people.

a vampire and an artist

Standard

There is a vampire and a man in a mansion or castle. The man is an artist.

The dream was about confronting evil, and fighting it. The man becomes a slave of the vampire, is controlled by him. His mind degrades and his journals become less and less coherent. His art becomes more like stock art, collage from reused items. I think he becomes anorexic at this point. Continue reading

a convoluted scheme, purpose unknown

Standard

I was a college student, or possibly a high school student, yet I had the beard that I currently have, which I had never been able to grow at those times. The dream involved some kind of extremely convoluted scheme by my sister NB and myself. I don’t remember the specifics of the plot, or even what we were trying to accomplish, just scraps of the plan and our research/rehearsals of it. They were: Continue reading
